Olivia McAllister Doctor of Naturopathy (N.D.) Master Herbalist Certified Nutritional Counselor
Olivia believes that total health is achieved by
understanding the intricate relationships of the body (physical), mind
(emotional), and spirit (spiritual). Naturopaths teach natural ways to enhance
good health, optimal wellness and encourage longevity. The Naturopathic
approach is holistic and focuses on maintaining wellness with an emphasis on
disease prevention creating a lifestyle which includes pure water, clean air,
wholesome food, proper diet and nutrition, exercise, proper living, appropriate
rest, right thinking, absence from toxic substances, body ecology, effective
management of stress and a number of other natural practices which lead to the
balanced living concept.
Olivia entered the field of natural healing at the age of
twenty-nine when she was diagnosed with breast, lung, and lymphatic cancer and
told there was no hope.
Being a mother of two young children, and so much life ahead
of her, she found her diagnosis unacceptable. She became a serious student of
medical alternatives taught and treated by a Tibetan doctor and a world
renowned Chinese doctor of oriental medicine.
Olivia quickly learned the holistic view of body, mind. Her
journey led to total recovery and the desire to help other women to
achieve balance and health as well.
